I wish I could just like one drawing.
Every time I finish one, my first instinct is to find fault with it and point it out.
I'm gonna try not doing that this time.
This is Draco, one of my very few actual "badass" characters.
He's the muscle of the group and his gloves, (see them?) open little portals to a hidden arsenal which he can withdraw from from anywhere on the planet.
He prefers to use his scythe most of the time, even though he says,
"Scythes are tricky, because sometimes they make you look like an asskicker, but sometimes they just make you look like a tool."
Anyway, Alpha Eyes
began as a Final Fantasy type RPG thingy I started in elementary school and I've been designing monsters and palette swapped 'stronger versions'ever since.
Here, Draco is fighting a group of 4 Phonycorns and the stronger version called a Qilin.
About halfway through inking though i realised something about this monster concept which I've been so pleased with myself over for years.
A creepy, reptilian impostor unicorn...
I almost trashed it until I remembered the philosophy of "Simpsons did it", and decided to post it anyway
(I'll shut up now ^^)Alpha Eyes
belongs to me.
