Today, Current Year A.D.
So I took a year or so off of most social media and just focused on working on my art for myself. Mostly just wasting time getting up early, making coffee, world building and doodling characters and creatures, brainstorming concepts, and figuring out what a lot of what my psyche was trying to say in this "secondary world". Got another 22 page comic finished and began wrapping up the art on the black and white one I started posting two years ago. Never really had an intention to post any of it tho. I found that I enjoy working on my art so much more when it's only meant for my own enjoyment. As many of you know, I've never censored my extreme opinions, but maybe at some point I began subconsciously rounding the edges of my art because I know it would need to be seen by others. Not sure how it happens, but the idea of others seeing it may have triggered my inner craven spinelessness. Hey there everyone, I hope you're all having a great life. You're all doing great on the trails your walking.
So I've made it to page 10 in my current series, and it seemed like kind of a milestone! So I thought now would be a time to ask what everyone thinks so far.
Maybe it's not your cup of tea, maybe you think it's decent. Can it be improved? (I know I've been wrestling with speech bubble flow).

Ok so it's been a long time and we have a lot to talk about.
First off, let me just say a quick hi to all the newfriends who've shown up in my semi-hiatus. My name is Lumdrop and I do cartooning!
My main focus here is art for my coming webcomic Chlorofields.
Chlorofields is set on a continent which is saturated by fierce, dense jungle and wilderness. The plants grow out of control. Any attempts at civilization are targets for the plant world to try and smother out (almost as if the jungle is a rational, conscious being).

It's been a while since I've checked in at all, and I hope everyone's lives have changed for the better since then. Change is kinda overrated, but when you're doing your best with what you have and keeping your sense of humor about it, you're bound to be in the right direction.
I haven't posted much in the last couple months. I've been so busy all of a sudden!
